On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Hypervelocity Impact Society, we invite you to submit an abstract and paper for presentation at the 16th Hypervelocity Impact Symposium to be held in the Fall 2022.
Authors are invited to submit abstracts describing new research, innovative methods, underlying physics and ground-breaking technological developments in the topics shown. Abstracts should be a comprehensive, self-contained, summary of the planned paper explaining in some detail why the paper would be of interest to the participants of the symposium. The deadline for abstract submission has been extended to March 15, 2022.

Special Session: State-of-the-art Experiments Enabling Advances in State-of-the-art Models
Technical papers (oral and poster) will undergo peer-review and will be published in the symposium proceedings. A selection of high-quality papers will be recommended for publication in a special edition of the International Journal of Impact Engineering. All accepted papers must be presented during the symposium to be included in the proceedings.
