The Hypervelocity Impact Society (HVIS) organizing committee wishes to deliver a personal invitation for your company to attend and exhibit your products/services at the 16th Hypervelocity Impact Symposium being held on September 18-22, 2022 in Alexandria, Virginia USA at the The Alexandrian, Autograph Collection. The Symposium is a biennial event that serves as the principal forum for the discussion, interchange, and presentation of the physics of high- and hypervelocity impact and related technical areas. It is intended for scientists, engineers, and technical managers from academia, industry, government, and defense programs. The HVIS Symposia have a long-standing international reputation as a catalyst for stimulating research in this area through a wealth of oral and poster presentations, and commercial exhibits. The Symposium's proceedings are the major archival source of papers published in this field.

This exclusive international conference in the field of hypervelocity phenomenology (from launchers, diagnostics, and material response to high velocity penetration, planetary defense technology, and more) attracts over a hundred attendees from a wide variety of countries, and institutions. The Hypervelocity community is heavily dependent on state of the art, high-speed data capture systems, complex analysis programs, and supporting capabilities with expertise and consultancy playing a major role.

This year the society is promising newer program and advertising technologies than that used on any previous HVIS symposia! We are looking forward to having you attend and provide sponsorship. This site will soon be updated for registration and a formal letter will be sent to those interested in attending and presenting their technical and related products.

Please contact Bill Reinhart (wdreinh@gmail.com) with additional questions and to express interest in attending.

We hope you will join us for this exciting event.
